PETA AWARD
We’re delighted to say, Kingfisher has just been awarded PETA’s Best Cruelty-free Beauty and Toiletries Product of 2006.
Kingfisher has never been tested on animals and no animals are harmed in its production.
Kingfisher does not contain any animal products.
We really are pleased to have received this recognition.
CARBON BALANCING AT RAINBOW
Rainbow Wholefoods (Kingfisher’s associate company) is now carbon balanced. This means we’ve taken 3 steps to understand, reduce and compensate for our impact on global warming.
Having had our carbon footprint measured, we are now financing an equal amount of positive action to seek to repair the harm which we cause the earth in the course of our regular trading, for example, our use of paper, fuel and so on.
The balances are made by planting trees in managed estates as well as investing in other projects which help to preserve the earth’s physical well-being.
We work with a company called C Level to manage this project for us. Their website is www.clevel.co.uk
Please get in touch with them if you might be interested in a similar scheme, for your company, organisation, or home.
